La chaîne de l’espoir
La chaîne de l'espoir is a French non-governmental medical aid organisation that is headed by Dr Eric Cheysson and founded by Prof Dr Alain Deloche, former co-founder of the organisations "Doctors without Borders" and "Doctors of the World". Formed in 1988 and founded in 1995 as an independent humanitarian assoziation, today La chaine de l’espoir is one of the most experienced actors in the international humanitarian medicine. Famous supporter is the former French Minister of Foreign Affairs Bernard Kouchner who is not only a politician but also a physician.
La chaîne de l´espoir and RobinAid follow the same humanitarian principles. We are committed to the same objectives and our methodical approach is very similar. We are based on an identical principle charter as a guideline for our medical and humanitarian work. Therefore, with founding of RobinAid early 2009 we joined by an agreement of cooperation as French - German sister organisations working together in all our medical projects. Moreover RobinAid is member of the international network of La chaine de l'espoir among partner organisations in eight countries:
Belgium: De Keten van of Hoop; Portugal: Cadeia da esperança; England: Chain of Hope; Brazil: Cadeia da esperança Brazil; USA: Surgeon of Hopes; Israel: The Chain of the Hope Israel; Lebanon: Heartbeat - Chain of Hope; Iran: The Chaine of Hope Iran.
